[ Akane is kind of... Pacing? She doesn't want to go straight back to her house. Maybe she just wants to decompress. But how do you decompress from something like this--something you don't understand? Don't know the rules of.

... As implied in a previous thread, she literally smells something good and follows the scent to the kitchen, where Nana is making tea!

Akane does not seem to know how to start a conversation, but finds a stool or something to take a seat on and sighs. ]

That sure was a lot.

[Not looking surprised or alarmed by Akane's presence, and despite the relative gloom of the situation, Nana still has it in her to turn with a smile.]

Would you like some tea as well?

Yes, thank you.

... So - what do you think of it? The outcome.

[daibanana]

I didn't much prefer it.

[She says it vaguely too, like her mind is somewhere else, even as she busies herself grabbing another cup]

But Milla-san was correct. We didn't have a chance to do anything but vote and move forward. After all, we didn't even know the rules, really.

Yeah... It's hard to say what else we should have done without knowing the consequences.

But you're right, and she was right. If we let the kid go, she'd probably just kill again.

And now we have to consider that the darkness will take one of us next.

They weren't shy about revealing that detail.

It means any trust we form in each other is meaningless. Even our own memories of our own innocence could be meaningless.

... Though even if it's true, I still want to help as many people as I can here, no matter the outcome.

[To help others even when knowing it might be fruitless. Sounds like a tragedy.]

[ Akane hums at Nana's intentions. That's nice... But as for her... ]

I don't know. Just go along with things, I guess. It's the only real option.

Yes, until we learn more about our circumstances.

... Sol-san and Lune-san must know more about the situation than they're letting on.

But they can't always tell us. It's annoying.

Is it that they can't, or they won't? I was never clear on that.

They make it sound like they can't.

But I think sometimes it's easier to hold depressing information to yourself rather than share it.

I think that if they had any more power here than this, they would be using it. That goes for sharing information, too...

It's better for all of us if we just know what we're dealing with. I'm sure they know that, too.

I hope you're right about that, in that case.

[The kettle begins to shriek and Nana's eyes slide to the side, watching it]

... Do you like honey in your tea?

[ Akane nods. Yes, please, to honey! But she's too rude to keep saying please. ]

We'd have an easier time doing what they wanted if they could be more clear with us, though... I want to meet whoever's above them, you know? Like, let me speak to your manager!

[That gets a slight grin of amusement]

Maybe we can. I never thought to talk to the universe itself... assuming it's the universe who Sol-san and Lune-san report to.

... I don't know how that works, actually. Do they get letters?

Do you think it would be lucky or unlucky to have that kind of cosmic guidance?

Sounds like the perfect recipe for a tragedy, to me.

... But I'd hope something good would come out of it, regardless.
