I had never eaten in my life, never slept, never drunk water. I could not move my sword on my own, as their hand had guided me in it. It was frustrating, and I could not help but feel as if I had encountered a massive setback. I was forced to rely on others because of it—something I had never done before, never needed to do.
If your experience mimics my own, then I can truly understand from where your emotions bloomed, Akane—and while I will not dote upon you, I am happy to stay by your side, regardless of our partnership.
