[ Again: Minato tends to just do anything Akane asks, so this isn't very valuable, but. She weighs it and decides that sounds fun enough, anyway. So sure. ]

Alright. How's this for a rule? You can learn to cook from whoever you want, but when we're making our final dishes to compare, you've gotta do it alone.

[ Is this a rule to keep the contest between them? Or is it a rule to keep Shirasu and Minato from working together and accidentally poisoning the judge? Who knows... ]

[ It's the only way he can ask anybody else to do anything for him, so it's motivating for Minato, at least. Though, chances are, his favor would amount to something like Akane wearing cat ears for a day, or something. ]

Hm... that's fair. When should the contest end?

How abooouuut... We give it a week? That way we can find a judge and get plenty of practice in. [ Just don't. Die before then!!! ]

[ Akane's greatest kindness: allowing him to make 1 rule out of several for the situation she's forcing him into. ]

[ Either he dies this week because he's murdered, or she will find him in the kitchen choking on his own food. ]

A week from today sounds good. My rule is... It's got to be something everybody here can eat.

But I don't know if anyone here has allergies or anything...

[ and asking so many people sounds like... A hassle. Unless they made everyone fill out forms, which she is not willing to entertain the idea of setting up. What a hassle. ]

We're not cooking for everyone, are we...?

I think Xion was allergic to something... but that might be too complicated, to ask everybody, huh? I was sorta hoping we could cook for everyone, though. Sit down for a meal together. Lune and Sol too.

[ she's laughing though so she's not... mad? probably? ]

[ Hearing her laugh makes Minato smile a little. It's a nice sound, and he wishes he could hear that from everybody else, too. ]

Then... How about dessert? People generally like dessert.

[ And Shirasu has a leg up already, Minato would be learning from the best. ]

The point is trying to get you to eat healthy--did you forget?

It's fine if we give everyone a dessert, but that can't be the only thing you learn to make.

...Right. Main course, and dessert. I'd like to eat some sort of bread. What about you?

Something with a lot of veggies, I guess...?

[ Something with veggies... hm... Minato really only knows his carbs, but Kaoru knows about flowers? He will ask Kaoru. ]

I'm not going to go easy on you just because we're friends. [ read: just because I'm usually too lazy to put effort into silly things. ]

If we're doing this, I'm going to try to win.
