[ It doesn't seem like Akane wants to visit Mary--she didn't know her very well, and it seems like plenty of other people are more invested. She doesn't really want to intrude on their time.

Buuut she is curious, and seems to just be poking around the general area. When she sees Saix she actually smiles at him in greeting? Weird?? But she liked when people got mad at him today, that was funny. ]

Is she still possessed, in there?

[ she assumes? he knows for some reason? ]

I haven't seen her yet. She's got many visitors.

[ like, honestly, he doesn't think most people would want to see mary, so that's normal. what's abnormal is that akane actually looks happy to see him, wtf. ]

[ he gives her a vaguely perplexed face at the smile. ]

But most likely. It said that it would outlast her, as well.

[ she likes seeing people say the asshole things that she bites back. she also likes watching those people get told off for it. saix is like a two for one. ]

Then what's the point of taking care of her by tomorrow? If the corruption will just move on to someone else, wouldn't it better to just keep it in one person and keep that person locked up?

You would think. This may be the reason we were brought here, to defeat the darkness.

It would be pointless to kill her. But I doubt we will be given much choice in the matter.

[ akane snickers a bit because "defeat the darkness" just sounds so... silly? it's silly to hear it said so earnestly by someone who looks so menacing and serious. ]

Say, then what's the difference between being possessed and obeying Sol and Lune? Either way we're just killing because someone else told us to.

WEEK 1 | POST TRIAL

[ another trial, another.... akane.... akaneing. saix is out here collecting ice cream and apples for mysterious reasons, but he notices her presence. ]

You must be very fond of me, I keep seeing you everywhere.

[ he says this extremely dryly. ]

And you must be fond of...

[ she looks him over....... ]

Ice cream and horses.

[ she has definitely observed that the horse likes apples. she does not know who likes ice cream. ]

[ he likes ice cream. it's for him, all of it is for him!!! ]

The apples are to distract him from drinking cyanide and getting us both killed.

[ no one is buying this, saix. ]

I guess that's a risk, around here.

[ Apparently!!!! Anyway Akane's new life goal is to make sure his ice cream melts before he can get out of this conversation, so: ]

Week 2 | Wednesday

[ Hello, Akane is wandering the village today, and. Maybe just sulking?? Listen, yesterday was a rough day. And she's not missing limbs or eyes like a lot of people here, but she is holding one arm.

She eventually winces and decides to just take a seat, paying no mind to Saix nearby. She slides her hoodie further off her shoulder, down to reveal her bandaged arm. The blood is starting to come through the bandage; it could use changing. Which she just seems?? Annoyed by??? Help, she's incompetent. ]

Uggghhh.

[ akane git good at murdergame first aid!!! luckily (?????) for her, saix is here. and they're matchsies..... he's got a burned arm. he's kind of just walking it off. ]

[ he's got a first aid kit, too. not that he cares, or anything, we've established that he definitely doesn't. ]

That bandages is ineffective.

She would usually at least fake a bright smile, but this time. Ugh. ]

Then do something about it.

[ he opens the kit and lays it out next to her. ]

In fact she even leans away from him at first. This is literally what she just asked for, but she doesn't trust it... ]

WEEK 2 | SATURDAY

[ he's going to be hanging out in gay baby darkness jail if akane cares to find him. he's not really in a talking mood, but he did have things to question akane about, so he looks up. ]

Who else was with you, during that escape room?

[ Akane has come to check on him! ]

[ She's perfectly content to tell him and it's been public knowledge--she's just amused he's asking. ]

I want to know more about that pendant. And if there are others like it.

We got it from another world through that gateway, so I doubt it. At least, not from this place.

I was with Nana, North, and Four. But we only got one talisman between us, and it was North's. And she used it already.

Week 5 | Post Death Announcement

[ Unsurprisingly, Akane is in her house. But surprisingly, she's left the door open. Like she was just too spacy to close it; it isn't wide open like an invitation, just cracked open still.

And she's just. Laying on her bed. Life sucks???? Life sucks. ]

[ here comes her fave person, the biggest douche in the universe!!!! ]

[ saix lets himself in quietly, approaches the bed...... ]

[ and puts a wrapped ice cream bar down ]

[ Akane pulls herself upright. ]

Is this supposed to make me feel better?

[ ... She looks way too cheerful for that to be even remotely sincere. I guess she decided that taking out her frustration on Saix with passive aggression was a good idea. Sorry. ]
