I thought that was already a good wish. I want to eat Akane's melon bread, made especially for me.

Isn't that a waste of a wish? That's something you could just ask for. Wishes are for more... Miraculous things.

Well... To go home, I guess. Outside of that, I don't know, I don't usually have to wish for things to get them...

I guess I sort of wish for the opposite. To just... stay in a time like this. With people I like. Doing things that are nice. But that's not something I can wish for, nor do I want it to become true.

Minato hooks their pinkies and gives hers a squeeze— and leans forward to give her knuckle a quick kiss before going back to get the sugar, because he's 1000% serious about making this cake and they need it if they want to pretend this wish would ever come true. ]

[ Akane takes a photo of the recipe so that she can look at it on her phone... And then follows Minato around, making sure he's only grabbing the right ingredients and not anything weird... ]

[ Sugar, flour, eggs... He goes between the cupboards and the recipe book each time he needs to find the next ingredient, so Akane has plenty of time to make sure the flour is actually flour, and that it's sugar instead of salt. ]

...What sort of filling do you want in the macarons?

[ Even when she has spare time, she doesn't actually use it to go get something helpful. She has switched out of Wants Credit For Offering To Do something and into Supporting Someone Else Doing That Thing mode. ]

Hmm... Vanilla? Then it'll kind of still be like that cake we were going to make.
