It's just temporary, but since Cinnabar hates me, it'll give us a good idea of how strong it is, and what it looks like. Like, um... Calibrating it?
This way, you and I can look out for them! And we can both see how it works, and I can tell you anything I notice.
But if it turns out they just fall in love with anyone and you can't help it, Cinnabar is so antisocial that it's still a good way to see what happens. And since they're your partner, you can keep them safe!
Even if they don't want to stay with you, I'm sure they'll feel at least a liiiiittle safer around you than most people. You're their partner, after all!
