Saturdays are unpleasant for multiple reasons.

Being connected to people like this is difficult.

Do you think having partners changes things? Do you think people would kill more easily without having to worry about their life being tied to someone else's...?

It depends on how much each person likes their partner. If they feel nothing for their partner then dragging them down along with them- even being attached won't deter them.
